This Privacy Policy covers our Home Search and Client Connectmobile applications (each, the “App”) and our website at myrealtyca.com (the “Site”). Together the App(s) and Site are the “Services.”

2. The Short Version

We collect the information you give us to provide our real estate services — and nothing more.

You can browse listings and use the calculators without an account. When you create an account, save homes, request information, or message an agent, we collect the details you provide (such as your name, email, and phone number) so we and your agent can help you. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

3. Information We Collect

a. Information you provide directly.

  • Account details — your name, email address, phone number, and password when you create an account.
  • Lead and request information — when you request a home valuation (CMA), submit a seller-intake form, or contact an agent, we collect the name, email, phone, and any message or property details you provide.
  • Messages — the content of messages you send to your agent or loan officer through the App.
  • Saved activity — homes and searches you save, and mortgage scenarios you save to your account.

b. Information collected automatically.

  • Basic app activity — limited events such as app opens and saved-listing actions, used to support your account and improve the Services.
  • Approximate or precise location — only if you grant location permission, used on your device to center the map and show nearby listings. You can decline or revoke this permission at any time in your device settings.

c. Calculator inputs. Numbers you enter into the mortgage, affordability, closing-cost, and home-value calculators are used to compute your estimate. These figures are not used to identify you and are not sold or shared for advertising.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and maintain your account and authenticate your sign-in.
  • Show you listings, saved homes, and saved searches across your devices.
  • Connect you with a licensed real estate agent or loan officer and route your requests and messages to them.
  • Respond to home-valuation, seller-intake, and contact requests you submit.
  • Send you communications you request (and, where you opt in, SMS updates — see Section 8).
  • Operate, secure, and improve the Services and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

5. How Your Information Is Stored & Who Processes It

Account, saved, lead, and message data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure operated on our behalf and transmitted using encryption (HTTPS/TLS). We use a small number of trusted service providers strictly to operate the Services:

These providers process data only to perform services for us and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. We do not sell data to them or anyone else.

6. Saved Items & On-Device Data

When you are signed in, the homes, searches, and scenarios you save are stored with your account so they sync across your devices. Some preferences and recently used inputs may also be cached locally on your device. If you uninstall the App, locally cached data is removed from your device; data tied to your account remains until you delete your account or request deletion (see Section 12).

7. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

Performance. Our website uses Vercel Speed Insights to collect anonymized performance metrics (Core Web Vitals such as page load time, interactivity, and visual stability). This data is aggregated and contains no personal information.

Advertising measurement.On our paid advertising landing pages (for example, our “cash offer” pages), we use Google Ads conversion tracking to measure the effectiveness of our advertisements. When loaded, this technology may set Google cookies and share limited activity with Google. It runs only after you accept cookies through our consent banner, and only on those advertising pages. We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Functional third-party services. Some site features rely on third-party services that may set their own cookies when you use them: Calendly (appointment scheduling) and Mapbox (interactive maps on listing pages). These are used to provide the feature you requested, not for advertising.

Your choices. On your first visit you can accept or reject non-essential cookies through our cookie banner. We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as an opt-out, and you can clear or block cookies through your browser settings. We do not display third-party advertisements inside our Home Search or Client Connect mobile apps, which are free to download with no in-app purchases.

8. SMS / Text Message Communications

When you provide your phone number and opt in to receive SMS messages, you consent to receive text messages from My Realty Company, Inc. regarding listings, appointments, and market updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message. Reply HELP for help.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

9. Third-Party Links

The Services may contain links to third-party websites and resources, including but not limited to Zillow, the California Department of Real Estate (DRE) license lookup portal, the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System (NMLS), and local Kern County resources. When you tap a link that opens an external website or app, you leave our Services and are subject to the privacy policy and terms of that third party. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the privacy practices of third-party sites.

10. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

The Services are intended for adults and are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through the Services, please contact us at info@myrealtyca.com so we can delete it.

11. Data Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls on our cloud infrastructure, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and limit access to it.

12. Data Retention & Your Choices

We retain account and related information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services and meet legal, tax, or recordkeeping obligations. You may:

  • Update your profile information in the App.
  • Revoke location or notification permissions in your device settings.
  • Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing info@myrealtyca.com.

To request deletion of your account and associated data, email info@myrealtyca.com with the subject “Account Deletion Request.” We will verify and process your request as required by applicable law.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the Services, applicable law, or our practices. When we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

We Do Not Sell or Share Personal Information

My Realty Company, Inc. does not sell, rent, or trade personal information, and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We have not sold or shared personal information at any point in the preceding 12 months. We disclose information only to the service providers listed in Section 5, who process it solely on our behalf.

Your Rights as a California Resident

Under the CCPA/CPRA, California residents have the right to:

  1. Right to Know — Request disclosure of the personal information we have collected about you, the sources, our purpose, and the categories of third parties with whom it is shared.
  2. Right to Delete — Request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
  3. Right to Correct — Request correction of inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
  4. Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing — We do not sell or share personal information, so this right is satisfied by default.
  5. Right to Non-Discrimination — We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights.
